Requirements:
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in technical documentation
- Experience in API writing, familiarity with API documentation tools
- Familiarity with OpenAPI standards
- Experience with Confluence and Jira
- Experience creating diagrams (for example, with Mermaid or PlantUML)
- Experience with and understanding of API documentation
- Proficiency with managing Confluence content
- Editing and proofreading experience
- Ability to influence and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical people
- Ability to create a documentation strategy
- English C1+ (both written and speaking)
- Proven experience in writing user guides in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences
- Knowledge of Microsoft Style Guide, Google Developer Style Guide, or similar
A significant advantage:
- 1+ year of experience as a team leader
- Experience with Git
- Experience with Postman
- Experience with docs-as-code approach
- Expertise in the fintech or cryptocurrency domains
- Ability to read and understand any programming language
- Example of documentation that you’ve created
Responsibilities:
- Organize the documentation review process and gather feedback from stakeholders
- Create, edit, and maintain public documentation including but not limited to user guides, step-by-step instructions, training manuals, API documentation and more
- Create, edit, and maintain inner documentation including but not limited to microservice description, process overviews and and other technical materials
- Review and update legacy documentation for both internal and external use
- Work closely with developers, product owners, business analysts, QA team, and others in an agile environment
- Establish and maintain documentation standards and best practices within the team
- Additionally, this position offers the opportunity for career growth, with the potential for the selected candidate to advance into a leadership role as a team leader
