The role:
The ZEAL Vice President Games is responsible for defining, leading, and scaling the Games Business Unit across B2C (games.lotto24.de) and B2B (zealinstantgames.de).
The role owns the end-to-end value chain of digital instant games, from vision and strategy to execution and performance, ensuring a commercially successful business that is compliant, and aligned with ZEAL’s standards for responsible gaming.
Acting as the central decision-maker and entrepreneurial owner of the Games business, this role balances growth, player engagement, innovation, and profitability. The Vice President Games works closely with group functions, external partners, and leadership stakeholders while continuously evolving the games portfolio, operating model, and go-to-market approach.
Your tasks:
Own the overall vision, strategy, OKRs and performance of the ZEAL Games Business Unit (B2C and B2B), with accountability for growth, profitability, and long-term value creation.
Own the full P&L, including revenue growth, cost control, margins, and financial performance management.
Set and evolve the product strategy, defining clear priorities, roadmaps and growth levers.
Lead cross-functional execution of plans across the Games business, aligning Product, Marketing, Technology, Data, Finance, Legal, Compliance, external content providers and the internal Game Studio around shared outcomes.
Leverage experimentation, cross-sell, bonus features and performance marketing to efficiently scale the player base.
Strengthen player engagement, retention and reactivation, to include tailored approaches for different player segments.
Lead the launch and ongoing optimization of games and offers, ensuring strong product-market fit, compelling player experiences, and commercial impact.
Ensure regulatory, legal, and responsible gaming compliance, embedding player protection into all business and product decisions.
Grow the B2B business, expanding the game portfolio and scaling profitable partnerships with external aggregators and operators.
Represent the Games business internally and externally, acting as a senior leader and key stakeholder for ZEAL.
What you offer us:
A passion for Games, significant experience of the iGaming industry, with a track record of operational or consultancy leadership and commercial success.
Strong commercial and financial acumen, including P&L ownership, revenue growth, cost control, and performance steering via OKRs or similar frameworks; comfortable moving from strategic framing to executional delivery.
Demonstratable experience of building, managing, and developing cross-functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders in complex matrix organizations.
Experience working in agile or product-led organizations, collaborating closely with product, tech, marketing, and data teams to translate strategy into measurable outcomes.
Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, combined with pragmatic decision-making under uncertainty.
Ability to balance innovation, speed, and regulatory compliance in a complex and dynamic environment.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills, including at senior leadership level and across diverse functions.
Fluent in English and German.
