The role:
The Performance Marketing Lead for New Businesses will drive the marketing strategy and execution for emerging business verticals, reporting to the Director of Media & Acquisition. Serving as the primary contact for new business Vice Presidents and leading a team of six senior team members and one working student, this role is pivotal in scaling businesses by combining corporate expertise with startup agility. The role focuses on achieving ambitious growth goals by leveraging multi-channel marketing strategies and fostering strategic partnerships.
Your tasks:
Lead the performance marketing team for new businesses across diverse channels, including paid social media, display, affiliate, cooperations, SEA, and SEO.
Act as the key contact in a matrix organization for business owners while managing marketing expectations and aligning with business growth objectives.
Develop media strategies to achieve target KPIs, focusing on new customer acquisition and funnel optimization.
Own and manage budgets, ensuring efficient allocation and spending to drive performance.
Analyze performance data, report results, and collaborate closely with data teams to refine strategies.
Innovate with growth ideas, testing new channels, technologies, and strategies to scale businesses effectively.
Build partnerships and maintain networks with platforms, agencies, and external stakeholders to enhance business opportunities.
What you offer us:
At least 8+ years experience in Performance Media, ideally across customer and agency side and corporates as well as start-ups. At least 3 years of which in a people leadership position
Experience across various channels: Social Media, SEA, Display, Affiliate, Cooperations, SEO
Strong analytical mindset and skills
Strong stakeholder management skills
Excellent communication- and negotiation skills in German and English
Ability to work in an agile environment and handle multiple campaigns at the same time
