Job Description

About Monstro

Monstro is a Financial Intelligence company. We provide the AI-powered Financial Intelligence System for regulated financial institutions, enabling them to deliver personalized Financial Guidance at scale while retaining control of their data, expertise, policies and client relationships.

We believe financial institutions have an opportunity to become the place their clients turn when they need to make an important financial decision.

We're building the technology required to make that possible.

About the Role

We're looking for an AI Marketing Engineer to build the systems that systematically put Monstro's thinking into the market. This is not a traditional marketing role. You are not joining Monstro to invent our brand, manage a large content calendar, run a conventional demand-generation playbook or coordinate a collection of agencies. Monstro already has substantial company thinking, product knowledge, executive conversations, research, strategic materials, recordings and market positioning. Your job is to turn that intelligence into machines.

You will build AI-native systems that:

  • maintain a clean source of truth for Monstro's market-facing knowledge
  • improve how Monstro appears across traditional search and AI answer engines
  • turn executive and company knowledge into high-quality market content
  • systematically distribute that content and identify relevant market conversations
  • measure whether Monstro is becoming more visible and influential with the institutions and executives that matter

We are looking for someone who approaches marketing the way an exceptional engineer approaches a system.

What You Will Build

  1. Monstro's Marketing Knowledge System

Build and maintain the source of truth behind Monstro's market presence.

Monstro has extensive knowledge across:

  • executive conversations
  • Product documentation
  • company strategy
  • website content
  • conference presentations
  • GTM materials
  • research
  • meeting transcripts
  • approved positioning

You will build a system that can:

  • identify Monstro's canonical/approved sources
  • organize and structure that knowledge
  • detect conflicting or outdated claims
  • preserve approved language and terminology
  • incorporate newly approved decisions
  • provide reliable context to downstream AI workflows

The objective: Everything Monstro publishes should begin with the right Monstro knowledge.

  1. AI & Search Discoverability

Build the system that measures and improves how Monstro is discovered and represented across:

  • ChatGPT
  • Google
  • Gemini
  • Perplexity
  • Claude
  • other emerging discovery surfaces.

You will:

  • establish a baseline around the questions Monstro wants to own
  • monitor where Monstro appears and how it is described
  • identify source, citation and content gaps
  • build or improve the pages and structured information required to close them
  • manage technical SEO/AEO fundamentals
  • develop experiments around what materially improves visibility
  • build repeatable reporting around progress

We care about strategic visibility, not generic traffic.

  1. AI-Native Content Production

Build a system that converts Monstro's existing intelligence into high-quality market-facing material with minimal executive burden.

An input might be:

  • a 15-minute voice recording
  • a meeting transcript
  • a conference talk
  • an internal framework
  • an existing strategy document

Your system should be able to turn that input into appropriate outputs such as:

  • executive LinkedIn content
  • short-form video
  • longer-form video
  • website articles/resources
  • AI/search-friendly source material
  • additional approved digital assets

You will design the workflows, prompts, models, approval mechanisms and publishing processes required to do this repeatedly. This is not about maximizing content volume. It is about creating high-quality approved Monstro content with extraordinary leverage.

  1. Distribution & Market Listening

Build systems that make sure Monstro content travels and relevant market conversations come back to us.

You will automate and improve distribution across appropriate channels such as:

  • Monstro.com
  • LinkedIn
  • YouTube
  • relevant digital publishing surfaces
  • other channels where Monstro's market is present

You will also build listening systems that identify:

  • relevant conversations from bank executives
  • strategic institution activity
  • emerging industry discussions
  • relevant articles and research
  • competitor/category developments
  • conference and event opportunities

The system should surface the highest-value opportunities and, where useful, prepare recommended responses or actions for human approval.

Our executives should not need to manually search the internet every day to understand where Monstro should participate.

  1. Measurement & Continuous Improvement

Build a simple system that tells us whether any of this is working.

We should always know:

  • where Monstro appears across strategic AI/search questions
  • what changed
  • what content is being produced
  • where it is being distributed
  • which target accounts and executives are engaging
  • what relevant market signals are emerging
  • which experiments are working
  • what we should change next

You are not being hired to report activity. You are being hired to build a feedback loop.

How You Will Work

You should have very little attachment to how marketing work has historically been done.

We expect you to constantly ask:

  • Why is this manual?
  • Can I automate it?
  • Can I prototype this myself?
  • Can this take 20 minutes instead of eight hours?
  • Is there a better tool today than the one we used six months ago?
  • Can an agent handle this?
  • What requires human judgment?
  • How do I make this repeatable?
  • How will I know whether it worked?

The available technology will change materially during your time at Monstro. We don't want someone with a fixed AI tool stack. We want someone who will continuously rebuild their own tool stack as better approaches become available.

What Success Looks Like

Within your first several months, we expect to see:

A functioning Monstro knowledge system

Approved company knowledge is organized, structured and usable by automated workflows.

A measurable discoverability program

We know the questions/categories that matter, where Monstro currently appears and whether that presence is improving.

A working content machine

A small amount of executive/company input reliably becomes multiple high-quality approved market assets.

Automated distribution and listening

Content consistently reaches the appropriate channels, while relevant market activity is automatically surfaced back to Monstro.

A useful operating dashboard

Leadership can quickly understand what is working, what is changing and what needs attention.

Dramatically higher marketing leverage

Work that historically took hours or multiple specialists increasingly happens in minutes through well-designed AI and automation systems.

Who We're Looking For

We care much less about years of marketing experience than about evidence of exceptional building ability. Technical fluency with scripting, APIs, agents, workflow tools or lightweight development is a strong advantage. You do not need to be a traditional software engineer.

Your background may come from any mix of the following:

  • marketing engineering
  • growth engineering
  • AI automation
  • GTM engineering
  • growth marketing
  • marketing operations
  • technical content systems
  • startup operations
  • another role that required you to build systems across traditional functional boundaries.

You should be able to demonstrate that you:

  • build end-to-end systems yourself;
  • use AI as infrastructure, not just as a writing assistant;
  • understand APIs, automation and modern no-code/low-code tooling;
  • can work comfortably with structured and unstructured data;
  • understand websites, CMSs and digital publishing;
  • can reason about SEO/AEO/search fundamentals;
  • have enough editorial judgment to recognize good versus bad output;
  • measure systems rather than operate on intuition alone;
  • move extraordinarily quickly;
  • learn new tools without being trained;
  • can work directly with senior executives;
  • can turn ambiguous outcomes into working systems.

Why Monstro?

  • Ownership & Impact: Shape the future of AI-powered finance - building a category-defining product used by consumers and institutions around the world.
  • Experienced Team: Join a team with leadership that has a track record of scaling companies from early stage to major exits.
