We are looking for a Junior Legal Advisor to join our in-house Legal team in Larnaca, Cyprus. About the Role We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented legal professional to support our Legal team with day-to-day corporate, contractual, and KYC & compliance matters. This role is ideal for a junior legal professional who wants to develop practical in-house experience in an international business environment. Responsibilities Corporate Legal Support
- Prepare and maintain standard corporate documents, including resolutions, powers of attorney, applications, and forms.
- Coordinate document signing, certification, apostillation, and submissions to the Registrar of Companies.
- Liaise with corporate service providers and maintain corporate records, registers, and companies files.
Contract Management
- Prepare standard agreements, addenda, and other contractual documents based on approved templates.
- Make routine amendments to contracts under the guidance of the Legal Department.
- Maintain the contract register, monitor deadlines, and ensure proper execution and archiving.
KYC & Compliance Support
- Prepare and update KYC document packages for banks, auditors, brokers, and internal stakeholders.
- Collect and maintain required corporate and identification documents.
- Liaise with internal teams and external corporate providers to obtain the necessary documentation.
Requirements
- 1+ year of relevant experience in a legal, corporate, preferably in a law firm.
- University degree in Law.
- English — B2 or above.
- Knowledge of corporate law and experience preparing corporate documents.
- Understanding of contract law and the ability to adapt agreements in line with applicable legal requirements.
- Basic knowledge of KYC and compliance standards and regulatory requirements.
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately with legal documentation and deadlines.
- Communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and willingness to learn.
