The Junior Paralegal provides assistance to the legal department in various business transactions such as but not limited to visa processing, organizing and maintaining contract records systems as well as preparing standard contract documents.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and managing legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and correspondences.
  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant information on Philippine laws and regulations.
  • Assist in drafting and reviewing routine legal documents and correspondence.
  • Prepare and file legal documents with relevant Philippine government agencies (e.g., BIR, DOLE, BI, SEC, etc.).
  • Assist with visa processing and other immigration-related matters for foreign employees.
  • Support the legal team in corporate governance matters, including board meetings and minutes.
  • Coordinate with external legal counsel and government agencies as needed.
  • Perform other administrative and legal support tasks as assigned.
  • Assist in Corporate Housekeeping tasks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Legal Management, Paralegal Studies, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Paralegal, preferably in a corporate or legal setting.
  • Strong understanding of Philippine laws and legal procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Filipino.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with visa processing and immigration procedures is a plus.
