Responsibilities:
- Assist in the monthly, and annual group reporting process, including preparation of consolidation schedules and working papers.
- Collect, review, and validate financial data from subsidiaries to ensure completeness and accuracy in group submissions.
- Help maintain and update reporting templates, consolidation systems, and data mapping structures.
- Perform variance analysis and provide preliminary commentary on financial results.
- Assist in ad hoc reporting, reconciliations, and analytical reviews as required by the Senior Associate or Group Reporting Manager.
- Support internal and external audit processes by preparing deliverables and responding to queries.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and data accuracy within group reporting.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in accounting, audit, or financial reporting (experience in group reporting or consolidation is an advantage).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and basic knowledge of consolidation concepts.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; exposure to financial consolidation or ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite) is a plus.
- Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; a curious learner eager to grow in group reporting.
- Good communication skills and a collaborative approach to working within a regional or global finance team.
