Job Description

Fluence Labs is looking for highly motivated, career-minded nondestructive testing (NDT) professionals to join our team of experts. We specialize in providing bespoke NDT services designed to tackle the most complex challenges in the industry. Each project is approached with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that our solutions are not only innovative but also reliable and efficient.

Responsibilities

  • Ownership of all record verification, qualification, and certification of NDT personnel at Fluence Labs
  • Design, implement & maintain a certification scheme for Fluence Labs in the methods for which you are qualified
  • Design, implement & maintain a milestone based training scheme for Fluence Labs in the methods for which you are qualified
  • Design, implement & maintain an internal audit scheme for Fluence Labs
  • Develop and deliver advanced nondestructive evaluation inspection solutions
  • Travel to customer sites throughout the United States as required

Core Competencies

  • Computer Literacy
  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate
  • +7 years NDT Experience
  • ASNT Level III
    • RT
    • UT
    • ET
    • MT
    • PT
    • VT (or AWS CWI)
  • Good written, oral, and presentation skills
  • High competence with Industry Standards
    • ASTM, ASME, AWS, etc..

Preferred Skills

  • NAS 410 Level III Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline, physics, or computer science
  • 6+ years of hands-on technical engineering experience
  • Experience with quality systems (ISO 9000/AS9100/NADCAP)
  • Advanced Manufacturing Experience
  • Casting Inspection
  • Composites Inspection
  • Weld Inspection
  • Knowledge of a variety of NDE techniques such as ultrasonic testing, eddy current testing, digital radiography testing, etc.
  • Knowledge of industrial automation
  • Experience with software and automation coding (LabVIEW, Python, C#, SQL)
  • Experience with POD Studies
  • Knowledge of Statistical Process Controls
  • Experience with root cause analysis
  • Familiarity with JIRA or similar task/feature tracking systems

Additional Requirements

  • Must be willing to work overtime and on weekends to meet critical deadlines when/if needed
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs. unassisted, bend, stretch, stand for extended periods of time, climb stairs, reach, twist, sit, walk, and/or run
  • Must be willing and able to travel to customer sites on an as needed basis.

Itar Requirements

  • To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C.
    • 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C.
    • 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
