Position Overview:
We are seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media Marketing Specialist to join our team in Helsinki. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies to enhance brand awareness, engage our audience, and support Thor Dynamics’ growth objectives. This role is key to showcasing our innovative technologies and mission-driven initiatives across multiple digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to promote Thor Dynamics’ brand and products.
- Create, curate, and manage engaging content across various social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
- Monitor social media channels, respond to inquiries, and engage with the online community.
- Analyze social media performance metrics and adjust strategies to improve engagement and reach.
- Collaborate with the marketing, communications, and product teams to align social media efforts with overall marketing campaigns.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices in social media marketing.
- Manage social media advertising campaigns, including budget planning and performance tracking.
- Prepare regular reports on social media activity, growth, and ROI.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in social media marketing, preferably in technology, defense, or high-tech industries.
- Proven track record of growing social media audiences and driving engagement.
- Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and analytics platforms.
- Strong understanding of SEO, content marketing, and digital advertising.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a creative flair.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Finnish is an advantage.
