Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team in Helsinki. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws and company policies. This role is key to fostering a positive and productive work environment, supporting the growth and success of Thor Dynamics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full cycle of recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with local labor laws and company standards.
- Manage employee relations, address conflicts, and provide guidance on HR issues.
- Coordinate performance management processes, including evaluations, feedback, and development plans.
- Support training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and career growth.
- Administer compensation, benefits, and payroll in collaboration with the finance team.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations in the workplace.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Foster a positive workplace culture aligned with Thor Dynamics’ mission and values.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in HR management, preferably in defense, technology, or high-growth industries.
- Strong knowledge of Finnish labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Finnish is required.
