Role Summary:
The Facilities Supervisor position supports the Senior Facilities Manager, Maintenance
Technicians, along with working alongside members of our Construction & Design
Teams. They will be in close contact with our Community Teams as they help navigate
with the day to day needs of our sites. This role combines hands-on maintenance with
coordination, training, and support across multiple Kiln locations.
Major Responsibilities:
Facilities Maintenance
- Providing support to our Senior Facilities Manager by aiding in hiring and training
new Maintenance Technicians as Kiln expands into new markets and states. As
well as helping with ongoing training of our current Maintenance Technicians
- Perform and support day-to-day facility maintenance and repairs alongside
Maintenance Technicians.
- Coordinating with our Senior Facilities Manager, Maintenance Technicians &
Community Teams on routine repairs, scheduling vendors, troubleshooting
issues, etc.
- Coordinate and assist on approved capital projects as directed by the Senior
Facilities Manager, Build & Design Teams.
- Schedule Preventative Maintenance ie. HVAC Filters, water filters
- Schedule and manage temp staff, contractors, and vendors
- When needed, provide temporary support for Kiln Sites based on work loads,
transitions & vacancies.
- Assist in opening new Kiln Locations which may include; supporting installation
team assemble FF&E, purchasing site supplies, travel to site to aid in site
launches.
- It is expected that this position would travel out of state roughly one week per
month.
- It is expected that this position would commute to each of our Northern Utah
locations two to three times a month. Mileage Reimbursement included.
- Maintain inventory of stored items
- Manage relationships and negotiate preferred pricing/bids
- Ensure compliance with all warranties and state/federal requirements
Ideal Experience and Skills:
- Passed experience maintaining multiple facilities is required.
- Passed experience training and coaching other Technicians is preferred.
- Passed experience in a construction trade is preferred.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
- Demonstrates integrity, dependability, responsibility, accountability,
self-awareness, work ethic, follow and empathy.
- Passion and understanding for Kiln’s mission and values.
- Basic understanding of preventative maintenance and property repair.
- Ability to identify issues without being asked.
- Self-starter, critical eye for what needs to be done.

supports teams in keeping facilities running smoothly.
