Role Summary:
The Lifecycle Marketing Manager supports Kiln's lifecycle marketing and demand generation programs, a revenue-generating role rooted in marketing craft. Through campaign execution, marketing automation, segmentation, and analytics, you'll move prospects from first impression to tour booking to active membership across 20+ locations.
The core of this role is mid-funnel reactivation. The prospects who showed interest and went quiet are your people. Your job is to bring them back through thoughtful messaging, well-timed automation, and a CRM that works like a creative, data-driven engine that scales efficiently and still feels human.
This role is new to Kiln. You won't be inheriting someone else's playbook. You'll be building it.
Key Relationships:
- VP of Marketing (strategic direction, prioritization, and performance review)
- Lead Gen Manager (campaign alignment, channel coordination, and attribution)
- Brand & Content (messaging, creative assets, and brand voice alignment)
- Sales & Business Development (campaign support and lifecycle coordination)
- Community Teams (market context, onboarding, and member experience alignment)
Major Responsibilities:
Lifecycle Marketing & Campaign Execution
- Develop and execute full-funnel lifecycle campaigns aligned to brand, product, and market priorities.
- Build and maintain automated nurture programs for key journeys, including new leads and inbound inquiries, events, market-specific launches and promotions, long-cycle and consideration-stage prospects, and new member onboarding and early engagement.
- Develop and translate approved campaign concepts into automation-ready journeys in partnership with Brand, Content, and Lead Gen teams.
- Refine messaging, sequencing, and timing based on performance insights.
Marketing Automation & CRM Enablement
- Build and maintain marketing automation workflows and lifecycle programs.
- Implement lead scoring and segmentation frameworks that reflect engagement and intent.
- Build and Support CRM structures that enable multi-location and multi-product campaigns.
- Create reusable templates and processes that help campaigns scale efficiently across markets.
Demand Generation Support
- Collaborate with Lead Gen Marketing to align paid, organic, and CRM efforts into cohesive demand programs.
- Support Sales and Business Development with marketing-driven sequences and re-engagement campaigns without acting as sales operations.
- Improve speed-to-lead and follow-up consistency through automation and modern purchase flows.
Analytics, Testing & Optimization
- Maintain lifecycle and campaign reporting across the funnel.
- Monitor engagement, drop-offs, and conversion trends to identify improvement opportunities.
- Execute A/B tests across subject lines, content, cadence, and segmentation.
- Maintain strong standards for CRM data cleanliness and attribution accuracy.
Experience & Skills:
- 3-5 years experience demand generation, lifecycle marketing, and/or marketing automation roles.
- Must have hands-on expertise with Hubspot CRM and marketing automation platforms.
- Genuinely passionate about the craft of marketing, the messaging, the creative, and the instinct for what makes people actually engage.
- A strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data and apply insights to improve what's next.
- A portfolio or work samples demonstrating campaigns you've personally owned, including the creative, the flow, and the results. We'll ask for this.
- Comfortable executing campaigns across multiple markets or product types.
- High attention to detail with strong systems thinking.
- Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple workflows simultaneously.
- Alignment with Kiln’s mission, values, and commitment to thoughtful growth.
