Morpho is a leading Decentralized Finance (DeFi) lending protocol that raised $70 million from Ribbit Capital, a16z crypto, Coinbase Ventures, Variant, Brevan Howard, Pantera, Blocktower, and 50 others to build an open lending network giving anyone, anywhere, access to the best possible terms. Morpho is experiencing explosive growth, with over $10 billion in deposits on the network, solidifying itself as the new standard for DeFi lending. Paris or remote (from GMT up to +2h GMT with possibility to come to the office monthly).

Role
The mission of this role is to scale Morpho's People function from 0-1 to 100+ team members while maintaining the highest operational excellence and making Morpho the best-functioning team in DeFi.
Responsibilities
Champion Morpho's culture through hiring, onboarding, and engagement initiatives to ensure every team member has the conditions to thrive in a remote-first, high-performing environment.
Own and scale the Talent Journey using data and AI-driven insights to enable high performers to do their best work across all stages from recruitment to retention.
Own and improve the onboarding experience to set new hires up for success
Help managers level people, run effective monthlies, and navigate through performance conversations
Own benefits, health insurance, and HR tooling across geographies
Work closely with the recruiting team to raise the bar on talent acquisition
Monitor best practices in crypto and high-growth tech to selectively bring in what makes Morpho more resilient and efficient as the company evolves.
What Success Looks Like
In your first 30 days
You'll build a clear understanding of Morpho's strategy, products, protocol, and internal organization. You'll map existing People processes, tech stack, ownerships, and gaps to identify immediate priorities.
By Month 4–6
You'll design the People roadmap for the coming year, establish high-bandwidth communication with the leadership team, and raise the bar on the people operations.
By Month 12
You'll have made People operations reliable and predictable, harmonized across countries with minimal firefighting. You'll enable the business to scale without slowing down growth, make Morpho the highest functioning team in DeFi, and become a trusted strategic partner to leadership on key business decisions.
Must-have Experience
5+ years of experience in a People position
Has worked at a company well-known for having an extremely high talent density in crypto or in high-growth tech/fintech
Solid background in people operations including performance management, compensation, and onboarding, with experience thinking about how to support people in their growth.
Hands-on and execution-oriented able to build and run processes, not only advise
Experience helping managers grow their people and navigate performance conversations
Experience helping people grow and develop in ambitious environments, finding the approach that fits the company rather than applying cookie-cutter systems
Strong interpersonal skills and an empathetic, collaborative approach
Crypto experience or genuine curiosity and appetite to learn about DeFi
Located in Europe (remote-friendly)
