About the Role:

As the Lead Product Designer for New Asset Classes, you will be the design authority responsible for defining and executing the user experience strategy for our expansion into traditional financial products. This role requires a blend of hands-on design expertise, strategic leadership, and deep empathy for users navigating new and sophisticated financial markets. You will build and lead the design process from concept to launch, ensuring a seamless and compelling experience that meets both user and business needs.

What You’ll Do:

Strategic Leadership and Vision

• Define and own the end-to-end design strategy and experience vision for all new asset classes (Stocks, Metals, Commodities, Forex, etc.) on the CoinDCX platform.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Legal, and Compliance to align the design roadmap with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Advocate for user-centric design principles, establishing best practices and design quality standards across the new product vertical.Design Execution and Management

• Lead the entire design lifecycle, from user research and information architecture to prototyping and high-fidelity final designs using tools like Figma.
• Conduct complex user research, usability studies, and A/B testing specifically tailored to the behavioral patterns of investors in traditional markets.
• Develop robust user flows and information architecture to simplify the onboarding, trading, and portfolio management of diverse asset types.
• Iterate on design solutions based on performance metrics, research findings, and evolving market dynamics.
• Mentor and guide other designers (as the team scales) on best practices for designing complex financial interfaces.Collaboration and Communication

• Present and defend design decisions and rationale effectively to executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Contribute to and evolve the CoinDCX Design System to ensure scalability, accessibility, and consistency across all new and existing product lines.

You’ll Excel in This Role If You:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
• 4+ years of proven experience as a Senior or Lead Product Designer, UX Designer, or equivalent, with a portfolio showcasing expertise in complex product design and systems.
• Strong, demonstrated experience designing for financial trading platforms, brokerages. growing, or other products involving high-stakes decision-making and data visualization.
• Expert proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma).
• Deep understanding of web, mobile, and tablet design constraints and best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Direct experience designing for cryptocurrency, Web3, or traditional asset classes (Stocks, Forex, Commodities).
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of front-end implementation constraints and technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
