We are seeking an experienced Director of Sales to join our RIA Channel in the Mid-Atlantic region. This individual will be responsible for driving sales growth across WisdomTree’s suite of exchange-traded funds (ETFs), model portfolios and SMAs, working closely with Financial Advisors in the RIA Segment.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial services sales, exceptional relationship management skills, and a strategic mindset to deliver innovative, tailored solutions. This role is open to candidates located in the Mid-Atlantic Region.
Success in this role would be achieved by:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to meet/exceed annual sales targets within the Midwest region.
- Initiate, build, and maintain strong relationships with Financial Advisors at Wirehouse and IBD firms.
- Deliver engaging presentations and insights on WisdomTree’s ETF offerings, model portfolios, and value-added resources.
- Provide relevant research, data, and due diligence materials to support Financial Advisor decision-making throughout the sales cycle.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and research, to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
- Represent WisdomTree at regional events, conferences, and advisor meetings, showcasing the company’s commitment to innovation and excellence.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to inform and enhance sales strategies
Experience and required skill set:
- 10+ years of wholesaler experience, preferably within the ETF or broader financial services market.
- Strong knowledge of ETFs, or mutual funds.
- Exceptional presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and financial industry software.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time within the Mid-Atlantic territory.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
Licenses and Certifications:
- Series 7 and 63 FINRA licenses in good standing.
- Advanced certifications such as CFA, CFP, or CIMA, a plus
