Product Designer (L1)

What You Will Be Doing

• Product Design: Help drive product design through collaboration with other product designers, engineers, and product managers to implement innovative product solutions, visuals, and experience that are usable and valuable.
• Develop and execute product design solutions that solve user and business problems and take them to market.
• Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering.
• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
• Collaboration: Communicate design proposals and key milestones to peers and stakeholders.
• Research: Assist to conduct user research, user interviews, and usability tests in order to contribute to the product team knowledge of our users.
• Design System: Contribute to  our design system, ensuring the work that you and the wider team are delivering aligns to the platform and development practices.
  Contribute towards establishing and promoting design guidelines, best practices and standards.
• Analytics: Support data-driven decision making through experimentation, measurement, and analysis.
• Reporting: Assist to monitor users' reactions and measure metrics after launching new features. 
• Documentation: Support the maintenance of  design guidelines, standards, and templates.
• Plugged-in: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging design practices.
• You are required to support any ad hoc tasks as required by the company.

What We Look For In You

• At least 1 year of work or internship of relevant experience in product design.
• Online portfolio of product design work which showcases your process and solutions and not just the finished product.
• Bachelor’s degree in product design, computer science, human computer interaction, or related fields.
• Product Knowledge: Strong desire and passion to learn about the blockchain/cryptocurrency industry and the problems faced by users.
• Design Principles Knowledge: Demonstrated basic understanding of design principles (typography, composition, hierarchy, proportion, patterning, color theory, etc.), knowledge of UX research methods, usability testing, prototyping, knowledge of visual design, user-centered experience design, interaction design and creative process.
• Familiar with designing for cross-platform experiences (iOS, Android, Web interface)
• Design Tools: Familiarity with modern interface design tools (Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD).
• User-Focused: Analytical and can articulate design decisions very well.
  Worked with qualitative and quantitative usability measurement methodologies.
• People Skills: Communicate clearly and have experience working with other individuals in a team towards achieving a common goal.
• Leadership: Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision after 3 months. Has a strong sense of self-leadership, curious & creative on finding ways to improve existing projects & workflows.
• Problem Solving: Passionate about solving problems faced by stakeholders together with strong user empathy.
• Growth Mindset: You love delving into new technologies and new ways of doing things.
• Software Development Knowledge: Familiarity with front-end development languages such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, as well as frameworks such as Tailwind or Bootstrap is a plus.
  You have keen interest in cryptocurrency, NFT, web3, and metaverse topics.
