A Network Engineer I will typically have at least 1 year experience in a hands-on networking role, along with a relevant degree (or 3 years+ of vocational experience). They will complete complex structured/standard tasks and assist more senior engineers in non-standard activities. They should have a strong understanding of IP networking concepts that would be roughly equivalent to CCNA/JNCIA level.
Duties and responsibilities

Provision and troubleshooting of all basic services across different regions

Dedicated Internet

Shared Internet

Carrier Ethernet/L2 services

New Product Deployments

Participate in the On Call, Night Shift, and weekend roster

Understand all common network alerts and their impact

Answer Support/NOC queries unaided

Deploy new devices following the template config of other devices

Assists in investigating and resolving network problems

Carries out agreed operational procedures of a routine nature

Handle client calls when needed or through our hotline using softphone applications to provide basic troubleshooting guidelines such as performing MTR or isolation test

The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related area
- 2 + years' of experience with network administration or general IT
- Solid understanding of IP networking fundamentals (do you know a MAC from an ARP?)
- Strong oral and written English communication skills
- A huge drive to learn and grow as an engineer
