- 5+ years of proven experience in developing mobile applications using React Native.
- 5+ years of strong proficiency in React for web development.
- A strong drive to leverage AI tools extensively - from writing and reviewing code to debugging and architecture.
- Solid understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and WebSockets.
- Familiarity with web and mobile development best practices and design patterns.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Understanding of mobile deployment processes for iOS and Android.
- Strong interest in blockchain technology and cryptocurrency.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native and web applications using React.
- Design and implement new features and functionality for VALR's mobile and web platforms.
- Integrate with backend REST APIs and WebSockets to ensure seamless data flow.
- Collaborate with designers to translate UI/UX designs into functional mobile and web experiences.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues across mobile and web platforms.
- Participate in any team-specific development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in mobile and web development, particularly within the blockchain and cryptocurrency space.
- Ensure the performance, security, and stability of mobile and web applications.
- Participate in an on-call rotation as needed to support 24/7 operations.
