  • Support leaders with HR-related risk management while ensuring legal compliance

Change, workforce planning & process improvement

  • Advise and support on organisational change initiatives, including restructures and system implementations

  • Contribute to workforce planning

  • Identify and suggest improvements to people processes and ways of working

Culture & engagement

  • Serve as a go-to People & Culture contact, fostering collaboration, inclusion, and high performance

  • Role model and champion Shift’s values in all interactions

  • Support initiatives that strengthen organisational culture and engagement

WHS & broader P&C initiatives

  • Help the business meet WHS obligations and promote a safe, healthy work environment

  • Contribute to wider People & Culture projects as needed

What you’ll bring:

  • 4+ years’ experience in a generalist People & Culture or HR Business Partner role

  • A strong grasp of modern, practical people practices

  • Confidence supporting leaders through change and complex people matters

  • Experience partnering closely with technology or product-focused teams

  • Clear communication and coaching skills, with the ability to influence and advise

  • Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgement

  • Good organisation and the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • A tertiary qualification in HR, Business, or a related field (preferred)

Key benefits:

  • Collaborative teams – a flat structure means everyone can learn from colleagues and senior leaders around the business.

  • Be involved – come together with all of your colleagues every 100 days to share the product and technology roadmap and business strategy.

  • Flexible working environment – we’re headquartered in North Sydney with state-based workplaces and offer a flexible work policy.

  • Family support – industry leading 26 weeks paid parental leave.
