Wordpress Developer

We are looking for a WordPress Developer to join our team. You will play a key role in building and maintaining high-performance sites, writing your own themes/plugins, and contributing to modern front-end tooling.

What will be your agenda?

• Work closely with other developers and designers to deliver and maintain high-quality WordPress websites.

• Build and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins

• Develop using PHP (OOP), plus front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Tailwind).

• Use Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) to create flexible content structures.

• Implement designs from Figma into responsive and accessible front-end code.

• Set up and maintain local environments with Docker and participate in deployments via CI/CD pipelines (GitLab).

• Help optimize sites for speed, scalability, and reliability.

• Collaborate with DevOps and operations teams (e.g, caching, Redis, Cloudflare) when needed.

What are we expecting from you?

• Fluency in Czech and English – we’re an international team and use both languages daily.

• Solid experience working with WordPress, including developing custom themes or plugins.

• Good knowledge of PHP with OOP principles.

• Strong front-end skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (Tailwind experience is a plus).

• Familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows (branches, merge requests, code reviews).

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (we use GitLab).

• Familiarity with Docker.

• Experience with templating engines (Twig or similar).

• Ability to translate Figma designs into working, responsive interfaces.

• Comfort working in a team that values code quality and maintainability.

• Knowledge of React for building UI components is a plus.

• Awareness of caching/performance tools (Redis, Cloudflare, etc.).
