About Arena Intelligence
Arena Intelligence is the open platform for evaluating how AI models perform in the real world. Created by researchers from UC Berkeley’s SkyLab, our mission is to measure and advance the frontier of AI for real-world use.
Millions of people use Arena Intelligence each month to explore how frontier systems perform — and we use our community’s feedback to build transparent, rigorous, and human-centered model evaluations. Leading enterprises and AI labs rely on our evaluations to understand real-world reliability, alignment, and impact. Our leaderboards are the gold standard for AI performance — trusted by leaders across the AI community and shaping the global conversation on model reliability and progress.
We’re a team of researchers, engineers, academics, and builders from places like UC Berkeley, Google, Stanford, DeepMind, and Discord. We seek truth, move fast, and value craftsmanship, curiosity, and impact over hierarchy. We’re building a company where thoughtful, curious people from all backgrounds can do their best work. Everyone on our team is a deep expert in their field — our office radiates excellence, energy, and focus.
About the Role
This is a high-impact, growth-oriented role at the intersection of sales, operations, and marketing. You will support and expand Arena’s relationships with leading Model Labs while helping drive new opportunities.
This position blends business development, campaign execution, light operational ownership, and strategic account support. You will work closely with senior Business Development leadership to help grow existing lab relationships while building outbound motion and supporting inbound qualification for enterprise opportunities.
Core Responsibilities
Model Lab Growth & Campaign Execution
Support Lab Expansion: Partner with the BD Lead to help grow relationships across top global Model Labs.
Run Targeted Campaigns: Design and execute outreach campaigns aligned to model release cycles, eval launches, and new product introductions.
Drive Engagement: Coordinate touchpoints across research, engineering, and ops stakeholders within lab accounts.
Event & Marketing Support: Assist in planning and executing lab-facing events, co-marketing initiatives, and release campaigns.
Light Ops Ownership: Support account tracking, usage monitoring, renewal prep, and CRM hygiene to ensure forward visibility into growth opportunities.
Pipeline Development
Prospecting: Identify and engage high-value partners seeking model evaluation capabilities.
Inbound Qualification: Field and qualify inbound interest; route and schedule meetings with BD leadership.
Meeting Coordination: Own scheduling, prep materials, and follow-ups to ensure high-quality handoffs.
Early Deal Support: Assist with light discovery, qualification, and potentially smaller scoped opportunities if prior closing experience exists.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Product, Delivery, and Marketing teams to align messaging with technical capabilities.
Help document customer feedback and surface signals that inform product roadmap and GTM strategy.
Contribute to improving outbound systems, campaign experimentation, and lead tracking processes.
What We Look For
1–3 years of experience in a Business Development or Sales Development role within a technical product environment (technical SaaS, infrastructure, AI, or developer tools)
AI Fluency: You understand the stack (Training vs. Inference, RLHF, Benchmarking). Genuinely curious about AI research and model performance.
High Agency: You are a self-starter who can operate without direct intervention.
Operational Rigor: Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building process where none exists. Comfortable managing CRM, campaign tracking, and meeting follow-through.
Some exposure to closing (even small partnerships) is a plus, but not required.
What we offer
We offer competitive compensation and equity aligned to the markets where our team members are based. The base salary range will depend on the candidate’s permanent work location.
Comprehensive health and wellness benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and additional support programs.
The opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI with a small, mission-driven team
A culture that values transparency, trust, and community impact
Come help build the space where anyone can explore and help shape the future of AI.
