Events Marketing Lead
Job Description
About Paxos
Today’s financial infrastructure is archaic, expensive, inefficient and risky — supporting a system that leaves out more people than it lets in. So we’re rebuilding it.
We’re on a mission to open the world’s financial system to everyone by enabling the instant movement of any asset, any time, in a trustworthy way. For over a decade, we’ve built blockchain infrastructure that tokenizes, custodies, trades and settles assets for the world’s leading financial institutions, like Mastercard, Visa, Robinhood, and PayPal.
About the team
The Marketing team operates at the intersection of product, growth, communications and design, in a highly collaborative, cross-functional environment. We drive awareness and demand for Paxos’ stablecoins and infrastructure platform across multiple channels, including web, social, paid media and events.
Events are one of our largest areas of marketing investment and a critical lever for brand perception, relationship building and pipeline generation. We show up at high-profile global conferences and host intimate, high-touch gatherings that bring together senior leaders across crypto, fintech and financial services.
About the role
We’re looking for an Event Marketing Lead who will define and execute Paxos’ global event strategy. In this role, you’ll decide where and how we show up — from industry conferences and strategic sponsorships to bespoke, hosted experiences that deepen relationships with our most important customers and prospects.
You’ll own events end-to-end: from planning and to onsite execution and post-event follow-up. You’ll partner closely with Marketing, Sales and Leadership to ensure every touchpoint feels thoughtful, premium and distinctly Paxos — whether it’s a small executive dinner, a hands-on customer workshop, a content-driven summit or an unexpected experiential activation.
What you'll do
Own Paxos’ event strategy and roadmap — determine which third-party conferences, forums and industry gatherings we invest in, how we show up, and how we balance sponsored events with Paxos-hosted experiences across key regions and segments.
Build and maintain an events portfolio that supports brand, relationship and pipeline goals, with clear criteria for event selection, tiers of investment and success measures for each program.
Lead end-to-end planning and execution for Paxos-hosted events, ranging from happy hours, content-forward events, VIP dinners and other formats tailored to senior decision makers
Manage all production and logistics, including venue sourcing, on-site experience needs and on-the-ground show flow, ensuring every detail reflects a polished, premium experience
Partner closely with Product Marketing, Communications and other team members as they develop content for events to ensure messaging and formats align
Develop measurement frameworks for events (attendance, engagement, pipeline impact, feedback and NPS) and partner with Sales and RevOps to connect event performance to business outcomes and iterate over time
Champion operational excellence and repeatable processes — from event templates and checklists to debriefs and learnings — so the program can scale efficiently as Paxos grows.
About you
7+ years of experience in B2B event marketing or field marketing, with a track record of owning strategy and execution for high-impact events aimed at senior audiences (VP/C-suite, enterprise buyers, or financial institutions).
Experience building and managing an events portfolio that includes both third-party conferences and hosted experiences
Strong creative and editorial judgment for what makes an event stand out — from content and speakers to environment and experience design — and the ability to tailor that to fintech, crypto or financial services leaders.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills; you’re comfortable working with senior stakeholders, presenting recommendations and aligning cross-functional teams around clear goals and plans.
Experience in fintech, payments, financial services or blockchain is a plus, but not required; curiosity about the space and willingness to learn are essential.
