About the Role
This isn’t a typical Mobile Engineering role.
As an Associate Software Engineer (ASE) / Software Development Engineer I (SDE-1) in the Consumer Experience team, you will help build and evolve CoinDCX’s mobile applications that millions of users rely on to interact with crypto safely and intuitively.
This role exists to strengthen the core user experience of our platform — performance, reliability, responsiveness, and polish. You’ll work closely with Product, Design, and Backend teams to ship consumer-facing features that directly impact trust, engagement, and adoption.
What You’ll Do
- Build and enhance consumer-facing mobile applications that deliver fast, intuitive, and reliable experiences
- Collaborate closely with Product and Design to translate requirements into production-ready mobile features
- Design and develop responsive, fluid, and accessible user interfaces with strong attention to UX details
- Build reusable and extensible mobile components to improve consistency and development speed
- Improve application performance, stability, and crash-free experience across devices
- Participate actively in sprint planning, code reviews, and technical discussions
- Learn and apply best practices in mobile architecture, state management, and performance optimisation
- Contribute to a strong engineering culture through collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement

What You’ll Bring
- 0–2 years of experience building mobile applications (consumer-facing preferred)
- Experience with Flutter (Dart) is a plus, but not mandatory
- Experience with Android (Kotlin/Java) or iOS (Swift) development
- Solid understanding of mobile application fundamentals and architecture
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of state management concepts
- Willingness and ability to learn Flutter and modern mobile development practices
- Good communication skills and comfort working in agile teams
