For this role, Fluence Labs will provide both classroom, and on the job training, along with a clear roadmap to becoming certified.
Responsibilities
- Interpret digital radiographs
- Perform process control checks & statistical process monitoring
- Develop and deliver advanced nondestructive evaluation inspection solutions
- Understand and debug hardware and software interactions
- Use field data to improve design and performance of NDE systems
Core Competencies
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in an engineering or physics discipline
- Computer Literacy
- Works autonomously
- Good written, oral, and presentation skills
- Expertise interpreting 2D engineering drawings and model drawings
Preferred Skills
- Experience with C++, Python, or other programing languages
- Automation & robotics experience
- CAD/CAM
Additional Requirements
- Must be willing to work overtime and on weekends to meet critical deadlines when/if needed
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs unassisted, bend, stretch, stand for extended periods of time, climb stairs, reach, twist, sit, walk, and/or run
- Must be willing and able to travel to customer sites on an as needed basis
Itar Requirements
- To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C.
- 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C.
- 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
